New Uncle Scrooge figure

Based on Don Rosa's "Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" series, this limited edition figurine will be available on Don Rosa's tour of Germany October 4th to 16th.

New Scrooge Figurine announced

Walt Disney Classics Collection has announced this figure for summer 2010 release.  Price will be $199 and production will be limited to the year 2010.  This is the 3rd in the classic comics series.
It is based on this cover from Uncle Scrooge #5

Dark Horse Duck series II figures

The second series of Dark Horse syroco-style figures based on Barks images will kick off in July with a figure of Uncle Scrooge based on the Barks cover for the famous story “Back to the Klondike.” The second, planned for August, will feature Donald in a scene from “Lost in the Andes” (the square egg story). The other three figures in the series will feature two other Scrooge images and a figure of Huey, Dewey, and Louie stacked in a totem pole pose, all at $49.95.

Uncle Scrooge alphabet block

This figurine was made by Grolier with each letter of the alphabet being represented by a block and a Disney character.

Scrooge World Cup figurine

This figurine of Scrooge McDuck is part of a series done for the World Cup in 2006. Approx. 3" tall.  Other figures in the series include Fethry Duck, Phantom Blot, Goofy, Mickey Mouse, a Beagle Boy, Gladstone Gander, Rockerduck, Horace Horsecollar and Chief OHara.  Pretty sure thats not a complete list since there is no Donald but thats all I've found so far.

Diving Scrooge figure

Don't really know anything about this.  Got the pic from ebay.  It is being sold by someone in the Netherlands and is 2" high.

Uncle Scrooge Busted!

Limited edition of 1500.  Retail:  $64.99  Manufactured by Enesco as Grand Jester Studios.  8" High.  Part of a series of Disney character busts made out of polystone. 

Looks a lot like the Mickey's Christmas Carol version of the character but "ole number one" was included so obvoiously the sculptor knew what he was doing.

The Counting House

Manufactured by Schmid, Scrooge's Counting House is part of a series of porcelain light up figurine houses done for Mickey's Christmas Carol.

October WDCC release

This figurine will be released in October as part of the Walt Disney Classics Collection. It will retail for $399 and is a limited edition of 750.

Carl Barks Bronze

This bronze figurine based on a Carl Barks painting was originally sold at the Disneyana Convention in 1997. It is a limited edition of 176.

Scrooge Pewter train car

This pewter figurine was made by Hudson Pewter and is one of several pieces featuring Disney characters that can be hooked together as a train. The wheels really work.

Scrooge Action Figure

I recently purchased this Action figure of Scrooge McDuck. So far I've resisted the temptaion of opening the package.
Made by Playing Mantis in 2003 and part of a line that consists of 8 more figures. Accessories include a stack of coins, a hat, a cane, a candlestick, a toy trumpet, a toy soldier and a toy sack.

Mickey's Christmas Carol Figurine

Made by Grolier in 1983 as a limited edition of 15,000.
I wonder if someone made alimited edition of 100,000 if people would still buy it just because it is "limited". This is a very nice figurine. I'm just making fun of the edition size.

Keep It Under Your Hat

Uncle Scrooge McDuck hides a bag of gold under his hat in this fiurine sculpture. I believe this figure is from the late 70's or early 80's. It looks to me like it is part of the gift line that was marketed out of Walt Disney World but I could be wrong.

Uncle Scrooge figure from Russia

ebay provides us with a look at this figure from Russia. Unfortunately, it is made from rubber which rots over time.

Kelloggs Premiums

I forget what year exactly these are from but it must have been early on during the Disney Afternoon since Gummi Bears were still part of the show. Probably from the first year the programming was called Disney Afternoon. There were 16 figures given away in various kelloggs cereal boxes and you could send for sets as well. This is apparently one of the sets because I have never seen any in packaging before. There was 1 figure in each cereal box and of course there was no way to tell which figure you would get.
I'd love to see the Disney cereals do something like this with a never ending series of figures. Unfortunately they rarely put anything in cereal boxes anymore and the Disney cereals especially seem to think just having colorful pictures on the box is enough to sell cereal for outrageous prices. Someday, parents will start cooking breakfast again because it's cheaper then buying cereal.
